AJMER :-
Founded in the seventh century by Ajaipal Chauhan, Ajmer derives its name from Ajay Meru.
Ajay Meru is the invincible hill, at the foot of which the city stands today. Surrounded by the
Aravalli mountain range, Ajmer is an oasis. Ajmer is a popular pilgrimage; the Dargah Sharif,
where the tomb of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti is revered by the Muslims. Ajmer is
also the base for tourists who are visiting Pushkar, the abode of Lord Brahma; Pushkar Lake is
a sacred spot for the Hindus. During Kartika which falls in the months of October and
November, devotees throng to Pushkar in large numbers to take a dip in the sacred lake.
Pushkar :-
Pushkar is an important centre of pilgrimage for Hindus. The place has a magnetic appeal with
400 temples that are blue white and a number of bathing ghats. The town resounds with
chanting of prayers and religious songs, along with drums and gongs. Pushkar is a happy tourist
attraction and the main marketing spot sells didgeridoos(Australian wind music instrument),
scarves in tie and dye, to the mix of eager tourists flocking from the world over. There is a dash
of commercialism but the town retains a mystique. The Nag Pahar is a small hill which
separates Pushkar from Ajmer a mere 11 km apart.

Day 1 :- Arrive Delhi to Jaipur - Local Sightseeing
Pick up from Rly Stn. / Airport. & drive to Jaipur transfer to hotel and check in. Afternoon tour of
Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour
of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the
notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory &
Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal with photo stop & through the pink rose
residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.
Distance between Delhi to Jaipur is 260 Kms / 5.5 Hours by road
Day 2 :- Jaipur Local sightseeing
Morning visit Amber Fort with an Elephant ride( at extra cost subject to availability) till the main
entrance of the fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. After photo stop at Jal
Mahal, Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of
Victory glittering with mirrors. Evening free for shopping on own. Return to hotel for the
overnight stay.
Day 3 :- Jaipur to Enroute Ajmer via Pushkar
Morning drive to Pushkar and enroute after stopping at Ajmer and Dargah reach Pushkar and
check into your hotel. Pushkar is best known for its Brahma Temple built in the 14th century
standing on a high platform near Pushkar Lake. This is the only temple in the world where Lord . Brahma - Creator of the Universe, is worshipped. While Pushkar is a city of pilgrimage with over
500 temples and ghats, it is also famous for its annual Camel Fair, held during
October/November. Visit temples and stay overnight at hotel. Distance between Jaipur to Pushkar is 140 Kms / 3.5 Hours by road .
Day 4 :- Pushkar to Delhi Drop
Early morning drive to Delhi. Drop at Delhi Airport / Rly Stn for onward Journey.
Distance between Pushkar to Delhi is 400 Kms / 8 Hours by road .
