AN INTRO ABOUT KEDARNATH:-
Kedarnath is a holy town nestled in the Himalayas. Located in Uttarakhand, it is one of the most
sacred pilgrimages of Lord Shiva and is one of the famous Char Dham sites. This scenic city
offers a tranquil ambiance with its snow-white peaks, luscious landscapes, green forests and
vibrant rhododendrons. Renowned for the Kedarnath Temple, the city is both a religious center
and an idyllic holiday destinations to visit in Kedarnath are the Bhairava Temple, Gandhi
Sarovar or Chorabari Lake (a beautiful glacial lake), Son Prayag and more. Chandrashila is a
summit located just 89km from KedarnathIn and is one of the most popular trekking and hiking
spots in the region. Here one can shop for herbs, precious stones, shawls, religious items and
more. In the year 2013, this region was rampaged by flash floods, and though it took time to
recover, the temple and the town have regained their old charm .
SHORT ITINERARY :-
Day 0 :- Overnight Journey from Delhi to Guptakashi
Day 1 :- Reach Guptakashi . Overnight stay at Guptakashi .
Day 2 :- Start Trek to Kedarnath . Overnight stay at Kedxarnath .
Day 3 :- Kedarnath Ji Darshan and Proceed to Rishikesh. Overnight stay at Rishikesh .
Day 4 :- Adventure Activities at Rishikesh . Watch Ganga Aarti at Haridwar in the evening and
proceed to Delhi by 8 PM .
Day 5 :- Reach Delhi by Midnight .
Detailed Itinerary :-
DAY 1:-
Delhi Reporting
Depart At R.K. Ashram Marg / Akshardham Temple and start
an overnight journey from Delhi to
Guptakashi. Visit Har ki Pauri at Haridwar and have a sacred
bath in the morning on the way to
Guptakashi .
DAY 2 :-
Guptakashi .
Reach Guptakashi in the evening and have an overnight
stay at Guptakashi .
Meals :- Dinner
DAY 3:-
Kedarnath Ji Darshan
04:00 am Breakfast and leave for Sonprayag and take a gov Vehicle to Gaurikund.
Reach Gaurikund and start our trek to Kedarnath.(21km). you can take hours or palkhi
(Own expense) to reach upside.
05:00 pm reach on top check in to ashram/cottage/Dormitory after fresh up going to
attend evening arti of Kedarnath mahadev.
Overnight Stay at Kedarnath.
Meals :- Breakfast & Dinner
DAY 4:-
Drive to Rishikesh
04:00 am Early wake up and going for darshan of Kedarnath shivlinga.
09:00 am After breakfast trek Down to Sonprayag.
01:00 pm Reach Sonprayag and get in vehicle and Drive to Rishikesh (75km aprox)
Reach Rishikesh Campsite by Midnight .Have Dinner and Enjoy Bonfire at the Campsite .
Overnight stay at the Campsite.
Meals :- Breakfast & Dinner
DAY 5:-
Proceed to Delhi .
In the morning have breakfast at the Camp and we go for River Rafting . Have
some adventure activities and proceed to Haridwar where we will have a sacred
bath at Haridwar and Enjoy watching the Ganga Aarti . Leave for Delhi by 8 PM .
Reach Delhi by Midnight .
