Located 45 km away from the Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, Chail is a popular quiet paradise for

hikers and honeymooners. Perched at a height of 2,250 m above sea level, Chail has some

must see places to captivate your attention at the first glance. This hill station sprawls across

three hillocks- Rajgarh, Sadh Tiba and Pandewa, offering enchanting view of the surrounding

countryside. There is a great story behind the name Chail. When Bhupinder Singh, the

Maharaja of Pataila was deported from Shimla, he then decided to make his own summer

capital that was named as Chail. Situated amidst the scented forests of chir pine and gigantic

countryside. Its lush greenery, striking view of the mountains and natural beauty make it an ideal place to
