the Airport at the right time . Bagdogra to Gangtok ( 125 kms 4 Hrs approx ) . Visit Monasteries

and Orchids.

Meals :- Breakfast + Dinner

Day 2 :- Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir . Visit Chandu Lake and Deltin

Casino at night. Overnight stay at Hotel .

Day 3 :- Gangtok to Darjeeling . Visit Tea Lounge and Local Market for shopping .

Day 4 :- Visit Tiger Hills , Ghoom Monastery ( depends on availability ) , Padmaja N. Zoological

Garden , Himalayan Mountaineering Institute ( closed on Thursday ) . Walk around visit to mall

and local market for shopping . ( Closed on Thursday ) . Overnight stay at Hotel .

Day 5 :- Have Breakfast and Proceed to Airport . Reach Mumbai by evening .

Detailed Itinerary :-

Day 1 :- Departure from Mumbai via flight and reach Bagdogra/NJP airport from where we will

start our journey towards Gangtok ( 125 kms 4 hrs approx ) .

Assistance at the airport / railway station on arrival and driver to Gangtok . At an altitude of 1750

metres .Gangtok became the state capital in the midst of 19th century and has undergone rapid

development since then . The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings

decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols . Gangtok is also a resting ground for people

travelling to North Sikkim . Sikkim is surrounded by monasteries and orchids . Gangtok is truly a

traveller's delight .

Day 2 :- Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir .

Breakfast at the hotel and Full day excursion to Chandu Lake which is 35 kms from Gangtok

located at an altitude of 12,400 feet . The lake derives its water from melting snows off the

surrounding mountains . Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color

of the lake's waters . Also visit Baba Mandir . Today in the evening enjoy Casino at the Deltin .

Day 3 :- Gangtok to Darjeeling ( 100kms/4hrs )

After breakfast proceed for Darjeeling . As soon as you arrive , check in at the hotel . Later visit

Tea Tasting Sessions at a Tea Lounge / Tea Shop in Darjeeling. Evening free for shopping and

individual activities. Tea lovers are bound and enjoy the delightful experience of tasting a

plothera of the tea flavors at the mall road . Darjeeling is famous for its lush green plantations .

The tea grown here is popular for its aroma and rich taste all over the world. So here's a

chance to take your taste buds on joyous ride as you sample one divine flavor after another and

what's fascinating is that you can customize your cuppa accordingly. These divine liquids are

Early morning start for Tiger Hills to watch the spectacular sunrise and it's amazing effects on

the Mt. Kanchandzonga ( world's 3rd highest peak ) . Visit Ghoom Monastery ( subject to

availability ) . Upon arrival have breakfast at the hotel followed by half day sightseeing tour

covering Padmaja N . Zoological Garden ( closed on Thursday ) , Himalayan Mountaineering

Institute ( closed on Thursday ) . Walk around visit to the mall and local market ( closed on

Thursday ) . Evening free for shopping and individual activities .

Morning transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station .
