THE UDAIPUR OVERVIEW
Udaipur is located 403 kilometers southeast from capital of the state Jaipur, Rajasthan
and 250 kilometers from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is situated at the southern region of
Rajasthan. Udaipur is truly an exquisite city with ample of natural splendor set at every
nook and corner. It is amidst in the stunning Aravali Ranges of Rajasthan, India and
known for its vivid fine-looking lakes, also called ‘the city of lakes’. The captivating
lakes in attendance everywhere make a flawless milieu around the city as well as sets
upon many hues, colours and smiles on many people.
This exotic city is full of palaces, temples and havelis present far and wide. The
presence of greenery creates a sense of charm and harmony. It’s famed for its heritage
and culture around the globe and acts as a centre for the performing arts, painting and
crafts. Udaipur is now looked upon and counted among the romantic cities of the
World and subsequently called the ‘Venice of East’.
DAY WISE ITINERARY:-
Day 1: Departure from Delhi;
Board the buses/traveller from the pre-decided point in
Delhi in the evening. Overnight Journey to Udaipur. Dinner
to be taken at Dhaba (At your own expense) .
Day 2: Arrival at Udaipur;
Check in the hotel. Freshen up and go on to explore
Udaipur
A full Day local sightseeing is arranged from our side
Reach back to the Hostel for dinner and sleep overnight.
Places Covered : City Palace Museum , Jagdish Temple,
Bagore ki Haveli, Lake Pichola, Ropeway, Vintage Car
Museum, Rose Garden.
Day 3: Local Sightseeing;
Wake up early and post breakfast go for another day of sightseeing.
Get to know the history of Rajasthan, the people and the culture.
Enjoy the sunset at fateh Sagar Lake.
Reach Hostel to sleep overnight.
Places Covered : Fateh Sagar Lake, Moti Maghari, Fish Aquarium,
Saheliyon ki Bari .
Day 4:- On our Second Last Day of Udaipur Tour we will visit Sri Nath Ji Temple and pray for a Good Married Life Ahead to the Almighty .
Located on the banks of the Banas River and having a distance of 48 from Udaipur in Rajasthan, Nathdwara the Gate of the Lord is visited most frequently by Hindu pilgrims. This pilgrimage site is very popular for enshrining the image of lord Krishna. On a tour to religious places in Rajasthan you must come to Nathdwara to visit one such famous shrine called Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara.
Day 5 :- The Final Day .
Wake up early and post breakfast check out.
Explore the local market of Udaipur , The handicrafts and Rajasthan
specific artifacts are good souvenirs.
Go for a final shopping spree before departing for Delhi .
